    • Take all the special stuff a teen or preteen loves to display and put it on a multi-use wall organizer for a great display space.

    • Start with a pattern of 16-inch squares cut from hardboard paneling or pegboard (figure A). The square can then be treated in various ways.

    • To create bulletin boards, a sheet of rolled cork (figure B) can be cut and then mounted onto a square using spray mount, trimming away the excess.

    • Consider cutting open an extra pillowcase (figure C) to cover squares with fabric using a staple gun.

    • Use chalkboard or metallic paint to create a fun message boards.

    • Strips of heavy duty hook-and-loop fasteners hold the squares on the wall (figure D).

    • A frame cut from molding will anchor them in place.

    • With some magnets and push pins, and a little creativity, your child will have their own keepsake display (figure E).
