Whether remodeling or building new, consider making your home more efficient by going tankless. - Unlike traditional hot water heaters, tankless systems heat water only as its needed, providing an endless supply of hot water on demand.
- Because the same water is not being heated and reheated, the average homeowner could save from 5-50% on their annual water heating costs (figure A).
- They can be installed inside your home between wall studs (figure B) or mounted on your homes exterior (figure C).
- In addition to saving money, tankless systems can also help save the environment. They emit fewer green house gases and most of the components can be recycled; which means they dont end up in landfills.
- Many tankless water heaters are so energy efficient, you may even qualify for a tax credit.
Web Extras - In general, gas fired tankless water heaters will provide higher flow rates (Gallons per minute) than electric tankless water heaters.
