The scenes on this page were created by cutting different stickers apart and re-assembling to create new vistas.

Andrea Grossman reveals a method for getting more mileage from stickers -- by creating sticker scenes.

    Materials:

    Vellum alphabet stickers
Green Hills and Water Design Lines
Various stickers (here, Kites, Lighthouses, Giant Trees, Poppies)
    Vellum Panels
    2 sheets ivory cardstock 12" x 12"

    • The trick to using this technique is to do careful measuring and cutting. Find the section of the Green Hills Design Line you want to use on each panel, then measure to fit into the inside of the bordered Vellum Panels and cut carefully. The title panels are simple cuts from Green Hills, but the cloud is cut to fit the scene and the sun is assemble to peek from behind the hills.

    • The cypress tree on the long vertical panel is raised by applying mounting tape on the back of the sticker, then brushing the sticky part with powder. The poppy on the title on the second page is cut from the Poppies sticker and placed on the square panel.

    • Green Hills sticker is cut to fit inside the larger blue and green Vellum Panel, positioned higher so that the blue vellum creates a water image, and finished with the re-maining strip from Green Hills. The flower bush is raised with mounting tape.

    • The ocean panel is created with Water Design Lines and seagulls from Light Houses. Journaling panels are cut from matching ivory paper with messages created on the computer.
