    ... or more dramatic accents.

Juliana Hudgins shares a technique for creating dimension using embossing powder and pearlescent paint.

    Materials:

    Radiant Pearls color of choice
    Stamp of choice
80# cardstock in cream or white
    Stipple brushes
    Paintbrushes
    Embossing Powder (optional)
    Heat Tool (optional)
Moist towelettes for clean up while working

    1. Apply Radiant Pearls to stamp using stipple brush and or paint brush. Use variations of colors, for example: if using a stamp with roses and stems you could apply several different shades of red Radiant Pearls to create a true interpretation of a rose in a garden. Use different colors of green Radiant Pearls for leaf to show shading.

    2. Apply painted stamp directly to cardstock with even pressure.

    Options:

    • While Pearls are still wet cover entire image with embossing powder and emboss.

    • Using Radiant Pearls and paintbrush, paint bare areas.

    • Cut out image and apply to another piece of cardstock, handmade paper or surface of choice. Use glue dots or other adhesives with thickness to add dimension.

    • Use Black Radiant Pearls instead of inkpad to stamp entire image onto surface of choice.

    • Use colored Radiant Pearls to detail paint inside of image.
