    The Completed Baby Flip Book.

Andrea Grossman creates a delightful flip book to showcase dramatic photos of a new baby.

    Materials:

    7 modules Slivers, Soft Shades
    1 module Luster Hearts
1 module Paper Whispers Baby Boy
    12" x 12" Black Line Card stock
    12" x 12" Light Blue Paper
    (4) 12 x 6-1/4" Black Linen Card stock
    5-1/2" x 7-3/8" Slate Colored Paper
    5-1/8" x 7-1/8" Light Blue Paper
    4-1/4" x 6-1/4" Black Linen Card stock
    8-3/8" x 7-1/8" Slate Colored Paper
    1-3/8" x 3" Black Linen Card stock
    1 " x 1 " Slate Colored Paper
    3/4" x 3/4" Black Line Card stock
    24" Light blue ribbon
    8 photographs
    Double-sided tape
    Scissors and craft knife
    Hole punch
    Foam tape
    Burnisher or bone folder

    1. To create the flip book, start by placing the 12 x 61/4" pieces of paper in front of you vertically. Then stagger the ends of the paper closest to you, so that they are about 3/8" apart. Carefully fold the top half of the stack down so that it is 3/8" away from the end of the top page.

    2. Use a burnisher or bone folder along crease to make flip pages lay down flat. Unfold flip book and use a hole punch to make holes along the crease (1" from either edge of the crease and one directly in the middle). Bind flip book together by looping the ribbon through the front of the right hole and then through the backside of the middle hole.

    3. From there, loop the ribbon through the front of the left hole and then back through the backside of the middle hole. Secure by tying ends of ribbon into a bow at the middle hole. Complete cover of flip book by decorating 1-3/8" x 3" paper with Baby Boy sticker and adhering to cover with foam tape. Trim each edge of page with Blue Sliver Design Lines to finish.

    4. To create the page, first start by matting desired photo with the 4-1/4" x 6-1/4", 5-1/8" x 7-1/8", 5-1/2" x 7-3/8" pieces of paper. Use Blue Sliver Design Lines to trim edges of photo. Then adhere photo to 12" x 12" piece of black paper.

,li>Next build the medallion by adhering the 1" x 1" and the 3/4" x 3/4" squares together with foam tape. Place one silver Luster Heart on top to complete. Finish page by trimming the inside edges with Blue Sliver Design Lines.

    5. For the second page, trim top and bottom edges of 8-3/8" x 7-1/8" paper and adhere flip book to it. Then take this entire piece and mount it to the 12" x 12" piece of light blue paper.
