    Figure B

Dinosaurs roam the home as craft enthusiast Mari Blaustein returns to share an easy and stimulating sponge-painting project for kids that allows them to decorate and brighten walls with a little paint and lots of imagination!

After drawing a dinosaur shape on sponge material, cut it out and submerge it in water. Then watch for a minute or two as the shape grows (figure A). Next, wring out the sponge, dip it in your favorite color of acrylic paint and stamp it on the wall (figure B). Blaustein explains that this project is a great way to create a design for a border or even an entire wall!
