Optional: 1 1/2 yards ribbon of your choice to complement album and flowers - Unscrew album and set screws aside.
- Remove inside papers and set aside.
- Using rubber cement, apply natural paper to the outside cover of the album.
- Select pressed flowers, and use tweezers to arrange them on the album cover as desired. Remove flowers from album.
- Apply glue to the backs of flowers (use tiny dots in several places--not too much), starting with the greenery, and apply to the album as arranged in step 4. Use a paintbrush to apply extra glue under all the flowers' edges to tack them down flat. Allow the glue to dry completely (figure A).
- Apply Mod Podge or a clear acrylic sealer to the entire album cover.
- Replace the inside paper, cover and screws.
- Tie a ribbon in a bow, and glue to the outside of the album (figure B).
Tips: - Use tweezers to handle the flowers while arranging, placing and gluing.
- Be sure to apply glue to all the edges of the flowers with the paintbrush to keep them from coming up when the sealer is applied.
- If the flowers or leaves break apart, they can be glued back together by pushing them together with tweezers or a paintbrush. Avoid using your fingers, as they'll tend to stick to the glue and then to the flowers.
