Without a basic pattern or template, drawing a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops or Pterodactyl can be quite a challenge.

Craft expert Mari Blaustein shows how to make this project a little easier with the help of a stencil kit. Most of these kits include paper, pens and stencils -- everything kids need for drawing great dinosaur outlines!

Note: An overhead projector can be used as an alternative to a kit. Simply place the image to be traced on the projector so that it's projected onto a smooth wall. Then, tape a piece of paper over the area where the image appears, and trace its outline!
