    1. Select a theme and card stock for your tags. The theme can be based on a gift you are giving, or the coupons can be the gift themselves. In this example, Dad is getting a trip to Disney World, so Mickey and his friends are the perfect accent.

    2. Using the tag template, trace the size and shape of a tag onto a piece of card stock. Carefully cut out the tag. Then create a larger tag from the same shape to use as a mat for the first tag. Adhere the inside tag to the outside tag.

    3. Create the coupon wording either with your own handwriting or the computer (figure A). Print the "value" of the coupon on a contrasting piece of card stock. Cut the written portion out and adhere it on the tag.

    4. Adhere the embellishment pieces on the tag to match the value of the coupon (figure B). Finally, add some pen stitching around the edges of the tag using a black marker.

    5. Repeat and alter this process as many times as necessary for the number of tags you need (figure C).

    6. Punch a hole in the top of each tag and set an eyelet in the hole. Use a ring to attach all the tags together.
