Embellish This! Dena shows how to cover chocolate bars to create a great greeting card and gift in one.
1. Remove wrapper from a large Hersheys chocolate bar and use wrapper as template to make new wrapper out of cute scrapbook paper (figure A).2. Add a coordinating bit of scrapbook paper to both ends of new wrapper. Use scallop scissors on edges (see again figure A). Using double-sided tape, adhere wrapper around chocolate bar.
3. Use large circle punch to cut a disc from scrapbook paper. Adhere a photo of your dad that has been cut into a smaller circle into the center of punched circle (figure B).
4. Cut two small pieces of striped grosgrain ribbon and adhere to bottom of circle, to look like a medal with your dad's photo in the center (see again figure B). Using a dimensional glue dot, adhere to the left side of your chocolate bar.
5. Using coordinating scrapbook paper, make a small folded card that will be adhered to the right side of the chocolate bar. Use alphabet stickers to spell out your message, like "World's Sweetest Dad" (figure C).
