- Purchase a very inexpensive scrapbook because you will be covering it up completely. If you choose a green album it will blend with the grass.
- To cover the outside of the book start with synthetic grass and attach it to the cover with epoxy (hot glue will not stick) and let dry.
- Use hot glue to attach a red checkered tablecloth or napkin to the grass (figure A). Let it hang over the edge to add realism.
- Take a small paper plate and snip the edge and place it at the edge of the napkin.
- To build the peanut butter sandwich take a piece of 1/2" thick piece of upholstery foam and cut a piece that resembles bread. To make the foam have the appearance of a piece of bread paint the top of the crust brown with acrylic paint.
- Add miniature plastic grapes to the plate (figure B).
- Add a hard foam apple, cut in half to the grass. To create a "bite" use a screwdriver, do not bit it. Glue directly to the grass.
- Add a cocktail napkin.
- Glue a trail of plastic ants across the album (figure C).
- For the inside cover, glue a piece of brown textured paper to resemble the underside of a piece of sod.
