    Project by Heidi Grace Kress.

Heidi shows us how easy it is to paint on heavier plastic film.

    1. To use paint on a plastic frame, simply use any brush from the local crafts store (figure A). Dip the brush into acrylic paint and lightly stroke across the plastic frame to create wispy strokes. For darker strokes, repeat until satisfied (figure B). Allow time to dry before adhering to your page.

    2. To adhere the frame, use brads, fiber, or ribbon (figure C).

Tip: To achieve a distressed look (figure D), use an emery board on the edges of the page, stickers and plastic frame, rubbing the file back and forth to your liking.
