3 Art Brads by Coffee House Designs
¼ " hole punch by fiskars
Bone folder or scoring blade on a personal trimmer

    1. Cut black cardstock into strips measuring 8-1/2" x 4-3/4" (ten strips total).

    2. Cut a 4" x 4-3/4" " piece of Fibermark Quills, Mandarin Orange.

    3. Score a fold line 2" in from the left side of each strip to make pages easier for your little one to turn.

    4. Punch 3 holes approximately 3/4" in from left side. These will be used to bind your book together. Fold mandarin orange in half and punch 3 holes in it, aligning with the holes in the black cardstock.

    5. Cut the ribbon into three 6" lengths, fold in half-length wise, poke an Art Brad though the center of the ribbon at (the brad will become the center of your knot) and set ribbon aside.

    6. To bind book, stack the cardstock, align the holes and wrap the Mandarin orange piece of paper around the edge. Place brads through the hole and secure. Tie the ribbon in a knot over the brad and trim, repeat until all brads are securely fastened.

    7. Cut 10, 6" x 4-1/2 " pieces of Fibermark Paper, using a couple of pieces twice. These pieces are the background for your number stickers.

    8. Use stickers to create "My Numbers" titles in bright colors.

    9. Open book and adhere a piece of FiberMark paper on right hand page. Repeat until all ten pieces of FiberMark paper have been adhered.

    10. Starting with the First page spread, put one pocket pebble on the left side to signify the number one. Place the sticker number one and the word "one" on the FiberMark paper, as well as one sticker reinforcing the number one yet again. Continue through the book in this same fashion?pocket pebbles on the left side corresponding with the number sticker and the number word on the right.
