    Figure B
    1. To make dye, squirt several drops of red ink into a dish and mix with water to desired strength.

    2. For background, speckle kraft card stock with dye and a medium brush. Stamp By Definition image with red ink on page. Ink the flower stamp with the red pad, lightly spray with water, and stamp onto background (figure A). Repeat two more times.

    3. Watercolor a journaling space on the background with the flat watercolor brush and the dye. Let dry.

    4. Stamp By Definition background with red ink on confetti white card stock. Let dry. Tear and fold over edge and watercolor with dye. Let dry. Attach to page and add a silver eyelet.

    5. Stamp "16" with VersaMark ink on confetti white tag and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Dip this tag, the metal edge tag, a length of linen thread, and a length of fiber into the dish one at a time and set on paper towel to dry. Sprinkle rock salt onto the corner of the "16" tag and let dry completely (figure B).

    6. When tag is dry, heat the embossing powder again and wipe off with a sponge dauber. Dip halfway back into the dye to slightly color the 16. Let dry.

    7. Stamp "sixteen" on tag with red craft ink. Attach dyed fiber to tag. Attach tag to page.

    8. Stamp "Celebrate" with red ink on strip of vellum. Let dry. Fold strip and attach to page with silver eyelet and silver brad.

    9. Layer photo on confetti white card stock and attach to page.

    10. Tear and crumple piece of red card stock and attach to page.

    11. Write title and journaling on page with black Journaler.

    12. Stamp "self" with red ink on dyed metal-edge tag. Write rest of quote with journaling marker on tag and attach to page.

    13. Use your computer to print "Work hard, play hard!" on vellum; tear edge and attach to page. Attach confetti white card stock tab over vellum and attach two silver brads. Wrap dyed linen thread around brads.
