    Materials:

    Paper Pizazz Ephemera Background Papers: crossed rulers
    Paper Pizazz Workbench Ephemera: tools, alphabet tiles, number tiles
    Paper Pizazz Altered Book Treasures: style tag, cork
    Paper Pizazz light card stock collection
    black, brown ink pads
    staples
    alphabet stamps
    cream paint
    sandpaper
    terra cotta walnut ink

    1. Sand the crossed rulers background paper. Cut out the ruler, screwdriver and hammer and use to accent the journaling.

    2. Cut the photo mat from tan card stock and spray with walnut ink. Crumple and smooth, then edge with black ink. Mat the photo and add to the page.

    3. Computer journal on gray card stock. Ink the edges with brown and add to the page. Stamp "adventures in" on gray card stock, mat on cork, and add to the top of the page.

    4. Lightly paint the blue style tag with cream (figure A). Cut out alphabet tiles for the title and direct-to-paper ink them with brown (see againfigure A). Mat the "r" on the blue style tag. Mat the "L" on cork. Add the title to the page, stapling "adventures in" and "L" to the page.

    5. Cut out the year, direct-to-paper ink with brown and add to page, stapling one "0".
