    Parchment crafting is a traditional, centuries-old pressure embossing and piercing technique. The Parchamoré system from Fiskars makes it easy and quick for anyone to do parchment crafting.

    Materials:

    Making Memories 12" x 12" black marble heritage collection
    8-1/2" x 11" black vellum
    Fiskars Parchamoré beginners kit
    black and white photograph, photocopied and enlarged
    1/8" silver brads
    fleur de lis punch
    8-1/2" x 11" black suede paper
    Xyron adhesive system
    black rayon ribbon
    mini Shape Boss
    foam pad
    duo-tipped small and medium embosser
    duo-tipped large embosser and piercer
    parchment paper
    white pencil
    wax paper
    stencil set

    1. Tape parchment to foam pad and rub with wax paper.

    2. Place on stencil #1, trace all motifs, and shade all motifs with white pencil. Remove stencil #1, place on stencil #2, and solid emboss all motifs (figure A).

    3. Remove stencil #2, place on stencil #3, and outline all motifs and lace-up design (figure B).

    4. Cut 2-inch squares from vellum and attach to page to form diamond design (figure C).

    5. Attach ribbon to page. Attach Parchamoré rose and journaling panels.

    6. Cut out photo and mount on page (figure D).

    7. Add punched fleur de lis shapes to page. Add silver brads to page.
