    This layout uses paper from the vintage collection line by Making Memories, which is perfect for the holiday theme. Using some of the latest in antique copper accents (brads, letters, etc.) and a sepia-toned photograph, carry the vintage look throughout the project.

    Materials:

    Making Memories vintage embellishment paper: antiqued stripe, large rose crackle, small rose crackle in brick
    Making Memories Double-Dipped card stock: brick
    Making Memories eyelets: antique copper
    Making Memories mini brads: antique copper
    Making Memories decorative brads: antique copper, round (variety pack 1)
    Making Memories alphabet charms: antique copper, square
    Making Memories medium card stock: cream
    cotton string
    light brown ink pad
    white thread and needle

    1. Trim 3-1/2 inches off bottom of brick card stock.

    2. Tear 1/2 inch off the right side. Rip and roll edges toward middle. Apply ink with stamp pad.

    3. Cut large rose crackle vintage paper to 6" x 7-3/4" and ink with stamp pad.

    4. Adhere to left side of card stock. Stitch along top and bottom edges to secure.

    5. Create photo mat by trimming cream card stock to 6-3/4" x 4-3/4" and inking edges with stamp pad.

    6. Cut a 3-inch square of brick card stock. Tear and ink left edge and center on left side of mat.

    7. Space three antique copper mini brads evenly along the brick piece and secure (figure A).

    8. Adhere photo to mat. Note: You can change any color or black and white photograph into a sepia photo using software
    or by going to a local photo center (figure B).

    9. Position embellished brick card stock at the top of antiqued stripe vintage paper and attach.

    10. Cut 1-inch strip of small rose crackle vintage paper. Ink with stamp pad and adhere across bottom of background (figure C).

    11. Print journaling on 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of cream card stock. Crumple and ink along creases (figure D).

    12. Adhere to piece of brick card stock trimmed to 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".

    13. Position journaling block on background and attach. Set antique copper eyelets on either side. Tie a strand of inked cotton string through eyelets and knot (figure E).

    14. Finish layout by placing antique copper brads in each corner and spelling title under photo using antique copper alphabet charms and mini brads (figure F).
