1. Tear around the outside edge of Green Script paper. Smudge stamp ink on edges to "dirty" it for an aged appearance. Center and glue onto Wartime Memories base page (figure A). 2. Mount photo onto Red Linen paper and age the edges the same way (figure B).
3. Mount journaling onto Red Linen paper. Cut a strip of Red Linen paper approximately 1 inch wide; fold in half lengthwise and attach to top of journal tag with a stapler (figure C). Age the tag by adding ink directly to the paper.
4. Wrap cording around top of tag and tie, leaving 1-inch tails (see again figure C).
5. To create pocket: Cut camouflage paper into three pieces, one measuring 5-3/4" x 6" and two 2-1/2" x 5" pieces (figure D).
6. Fold a box pleat into the center front of large piece. Turn back 1/4 inch on three sides. Glue or stitch edges (see again figure D).
7. Cut the two smaller pieces to form a point for pocket top. Fold under 1/4 inch on three sides. Glue or stitch edges (see again figure D).
8. Glue pocket top to pocket base. Fold top of pocket under 1/4 inch and glue.
9. Wrinkle pocket and age with ink.
10. Arrange photo to center right side of page at slight angle. Place journal tag to top right corner.
11. Place pocket to bottom left side at slight angle. Embellish pocket with Army sticker (figure E).
12. Embellish a piece of gold ribbon with USA sticker and age with ink. Attach top edge of ribbon to inside of top of pocket.
13. Create "Memories" tag. Place tag and memorabilia partially inside of pocket (figure F).
