Jill Miller creates an accordion album from invitation envelopes.
Materials:
8 invitatation with matching envelopes Matching solid cardstock Craft knife
When closed, this looks like the usual mini-album ...
... but when opened, reveals engagement or special wedding photos. The key to success (and saving time) when doing this album is the use of remaining invitation envelopes.

Position 2 envelopes with flaps facing up, side-by-side. Twist the left side envelope 180-degrees so that flaps open toward each other. Slide left envelope under flap of right envelope and secure flap of right envelope to left envelope with adhesive.
Next, attach third envelope under left side envelope WITHOUT twisting (flaps should always be facing each other). Secure flap with adhesive. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with remaining envelopes.
Place 7 of the invitations inside envelope openings, leaving last envelope empty. Tear 8' invitation along fold and insert into last envelope. Seal remaining flap closed to finish the back of accordian book. Adhere all invitation flaps to envelopes.
Use craft knife to silhouette cut any designs that you wish to tuck photo under. Add mounted photos as desired. Add remaining accents (envelope seals if included with invitations) and journal on end panel.
Turning the envelopes and adhering the flaps creates the accordion effect.
The envelope seals included with the invitations are used as embellishments for the photos. Miller simply adds them to the cardstock, then cuts around the motif and slides the photo under.
