Guest Stacy Julian reveals her technique for creating an anniversary gift album to honor a special couple.
Select a color scheme, then purchase cardstock and patterned papers in those colors. Select a theme or design motif that will be meaningful to the recipients, then purchase rubber stamps and inks to support both the colors and theme.
Cut all paper in to 6" x 6" pieces (Stacy used a 6" x 6" album with page protectors for her album).
Contact friends and relatives and request that they write notes to the couple to be opened on future anniversaries.
Obtain a photo of the couple for the title page.
Collect several quotes and print on 6" x 6" vellum.
Plan and create the following pages: Title, Hidden Notes, Yearly Anniversary pages, Quotes.
Assemble album, inserting notes from friends and relatives sealed into large vellum envelopes with sealing wax.
