The rich golden tones and soft greens are the perfect complement to this bridal portrait.
When creating wedding pages, using pale, elegant shades of white, cream or ivory are almost second nature. But by selecting a different palette -- as guest Tricia Morris has done -- you can often create the perfect backdrop for the beautiful bride in your life.

    Materials:

Club Scrap Paper in Tuscany Green (12" x 12"), Tuscany Lemon Raised (12" x 12") and Tuscany Yellow and Green Plain (8-1/2" x 11")
Perfect Pearls in Sunflower Yellow and Green
Perfect Medium Ink and Brush Tip Pen
    Dry Paintbrush
    Yasutomo Waterbrush
Club Scrap Granmma's Attic Lace Frame Stamp
    Club Scrap Tuscany Stencil

    1. Heat Penscore foam with a heat tool and press it into crumpled paper. The foam will hold the texture after it cools (figure A). Next, use the textured foam to sponge Yellow Ochre ink onto the Lemon print.

    2. Dip a moist waterbrush into the Perfect Pearls powder, then paint the raised areas of the Lemon Print paper.

    3. Trim the print to 11" x 11" and mount onto the 12" x 12" Green with gold brads.

    4. Stamp the Lace Frame onto green paper using Perfect Medium Ink. Brush the Yellow powder over the image (figure B) The powder will stick to the ink.

    5. Mount eyelets into the corners of the frame, string ribbon through the eyelets, then tie a knot at each end. Pierce a brad through the top of the ribbon and mount (figure C).

    6. Use the Perfect Medium Ink to stencil the lemons onto yellow paper. Brush on
yellow Perfect Pearl. Stencil the leaves and stem with Perfect Medium, then brush
      with Green Perfect Pearls.

    7. Draw a frame along the edge of the stenciled image (figure D) with the Perfect Medium pen. Brush with Perfect Pearls.

    8. Mat and mount bridal portrait.
