- Trim blue solid paper to 10" x 10". Punch the 4 corners first by lining the edge of the punch tool to the edge of the paper. Continue to punch along each edge by lining up the punch tool next to the previously punched square and the edge of the paper (figure A).
- Cut 4 strips from the blue/yellow striped paper. Adhere strips along the edges of the blue paper and miter the corners. Adhere to the center of the blue/yellow toile paper.
- Cut a 7" x 7" square from the yellow rose paper and adhere to the center of the page.
- Cut a 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" square from the blue paper. To punch the edges, place tape on punch tool (so that the punch will be closer to the edge). Punch the 4 corners first by turning your paper and punch on the reverse side (so that you can see where you are punching). Continue to punch the edges moving your punch tool 3/4" each time.
- Use craft knife to cut away inside design from punch squares (figure B) leaving just the corners. Adhere blue square to the center of the page (figure C).
- From the remaining blue paper, cut a 5-3/8" x 5-3/8" square for the frame. Measure a 1-1/8" border along each edge and mark lightly with pencil. Punch approximately 20 squares on the yellow gingham paper and cut inside design from each square, saving the designs and adhering them along the border marked on the blue square. Cut 4 more strips from the blue/yellow striped paper, and adhere strips along the edges of the yellow punched designs. Miter the corners. Lastly, cut inside the border to finish the frame. Adhere photograph inside frame and attach to the center of the page with foam tape.
- To create journal tag, punch two squares side by side on the yellow roses paper and cut away inside designs leaving the corners. Hand write or laser print on blue paper and adhere behind yellow cut out. Trim tag to approx. 2-5/8" x 1-5/8" rectangle. Adhere journal tag just below photograph.
