    flat velvet flower
6" green velvet ribbon (same width as or slightly smaller than barrette width)
    rhinestones
    Fabri-Tac glue
    jewel glue

    1. Apply Fabri-Tac glue to the front and back edges of the barrette; be careful to not get glue in the barrette mechanism (figure A). Secure one end of the ribbon to the back edge of the barrette, wrap across the front and around to the back (figure B) (figure C). Trim away any excess ribbon. Set aside until the glue is dry.

    2. Layer the flower on top and glue in place (figure D). Add a rhinestones to the center of the flower using gem glue; guide the rhinestone with a toothpick. Let the glue dry before using.
