    1. Lay out ribbons side by side to make a pleasing pattern.

    2. Pin together with a slight overlap and using a zigzag stitch sew them together to make a flat sheet.

    3. Trim ends and fold over to make a flat hem on one end only.

    4. Fold up to create a pocket 4-1/2" deep.

    5. Pin and sew sides together.

    6. Trim ends and fold over to make a flat hem on one end only.

    7. Fold up to create a pocket 4-1/2" deep.

    8. Pin and sew sides together.

    9. Take raw end and pin out the side corners to each other flattening out the raw edge. Stitch.

    10. Turn inside out to make the point of the envelope flat and top stitch edges to finish.

    11. Cut paper into 1/2" strips.

    12. Arrange about an 8" symmetrical "asterisk" pattern. Staple in the center of the pattern to secure.

    13. Pull across the up facing side of the paper with the blade of the scissors to gently curl the paper.

    14. Place a button in the center and stitch to the point of the envelope flap.

    15. Use self adhesive hook and loop "dot" to seal the envelope.
