    Pompons
    Tools:

    125 24" pieces of yarn, ribbon and/or curly ribbon
    one yard grosgrain ribbon
    duct tape (colored if you have it)
    scissors
    ruler

    1. Lay all the yarn on the work surface and evenly disperse ribbons through the bunch. Find the center of the ribbons and yarn (figure A); this should be at 12". Find the center of the yardlong piece of grosgrain ribbon.

    2. Lay the center of the grosgrain ribbon over the center of the lengths of ribbon and yarn. Fold the ribbons and yarn over and tie the grosgrain ribbon in a very tight knot (figure B). This will hold the pompon together.

    3. Secure the end of the pompon by wrapping it with duct tape (figure C). Tie a decorative bow with the extra grosgrain ribbon.

    4. Repeat for as many pompons as you would like to make.
