    Figure A
Project by Walter and Gwen Knabe

    Materials:

    4" x 6" or 8" x 10" photo frame with at least a 3" flat surface
wallpaper samples, or heavy decorative paper
    craft glue or spray glue
    craft knife
    baked clay objects.

    Decorative Frame

    1. Glue main paper for the outside border of the frame.

    2. Place the frame on the glue side of the fabric and press lightly.

    3. While applying pressure to the back of the frame, cut around the frame.

    4. Press the frame and paper one more time.

    5. Remove the glass from the inside of the frame.

    6. Lay the second paper on the table and lay the glass on top.

    7. Cut around the glass to make the paper piece fit inside the frame (figure A).

    8. Form clay designs using Fimo clay.

    9. Fire the clay in the oven as per directions, and adhere the clay objects with craft glue or glue gun.

    10. Add favorite frame inside the frame also.

    Tips:

    • Make sure to use a heavy enough paper — thin paper will rip when you go to cut it.

    • Remember that you can get more detailed with the frame by adding things like more refined embellishments and gold leafing the edges.
