Project Designed by Lisa Shepard Stewart.Materials: small photos framed (lightweight) Kente cloth strip, or other narrow hand woven fabric craft or fabric glue craft weight fusible interfacing gold ribbon Kente Strip Picture Sash - Fold the Kente strip in half, studying the Kente strip pattern for repetitions and areas you want to highlight. (If strip must be cut to desired length, place a strip of transparent tape underneath the Kente cloth, to prevent raveling when the strip is cut.)
- Cut fusible interfacing to the length, and width of the Kente strip. Apply fusible interfacing to the back section of the strip. Glue long edges of the Kente strip "front" and "back" together.
- Position picture frames along the strip and glue into place. Hang.
