    1-2 potatoes
    paring knife or vegetable peeler

    Zimbabwe Potato Stamped Frame

    1. Plan three to four designs for the stamps. Simple hand-drawn motifs will look most authentic.

    2. Cut potatoes into three or four slabs with flat edges. Carve designs into the flat surfaces. Blot dry.

    3. If desired, mix acrylic paints for custom colors. Apply paints to stamps with sponge brush.

    4. Mark position of the photo on the white cardboard insert of the box frame. It can be centered or asymmetrical.

    5. Stamp around the remaining surface of the cardboard insert. Let dry. Position photo with double-sided tape or spray adhesive. Assemble the frame and hang.
