    The B. Original host shows how to recycle Business Reply cards from junk mail and magazines into fabulous postcards you'll love to send. She even offers a few tips for other ways to turn unwanted mail into projects. Scroll down to get started.

    Junk Mail Postcards

    Materials:

    business reply cards from junk mail and magazines
    inkpads
    photos
    paper cement
    glue stick
    photo mount corners
    sticker paper
    computer and printer
    postcard template (see link below)

    • Use an inkpad to apply ink to both sides of the card, covering any lettering or artwork (figure A).

    • When the ink has dried, use paper cement to cover up the business reply information with a photo (figure B).

    • Print out a blank postcard template (figure C) onto full-page sticker paper. Cut out a postcard sticker and stick it to the card.

    • Dress up the photo by gluing photo-mount triangles into each corner.

    • To add a little texture, use a sewing machine to create a zigzag stitch around the edges of the card.

    • Make up a set of these beautiful, customized postcards , and you’ll always be ready to send of a quick-note or a thank-you

    Other Junk Mail Uses

    • Windowed envelopes can become wonderful photo frames or collage backgrounds (figure D).

    • Graphics and photos from magazines make a great artwork source for collage projects.

    • Look through clothing catalogs for pieces to create your own paper dolls.
