    Natural Paper Jewelry Box

    Materials:

    Paper Perfect by Deco Art
    dried floral additives by Deco Art
    pallet knife
    wooden jewelry box
    sponge
    raffia
    hot glue
    dried flowers

    1. Prep the box by sanding down any rough edges and painting the surface.

    2. Thoroughly stir paper perfect medium before applying with a palette knife to the face of the jewelry box -- use a sponge for textured effects (figure A). Sprinkle dried flower additives directly onto the wet paper perfect and gently press in place with fingers – use a pallet knife to lay delicate flowers on the surface of the medium (figure B) (figure C).

    3. Dry 12-24 hours depending on thickness (remove excess water and accelerate drying time by with a sponge patted over the surface and/or place in front of fan). The medium is acid-free and non-toxic – clean up with soap and water.

    4. Once dry, hot-glue raffia bow trim and dried flowers to the sides of the box.
