    Apple-Stamped Stationery
    Materials:

    1 apple, cut in half
metallic acrylic paint in salmon, green, gold and red
    copper embossing powder
    embossing pen
    embossing gun
    blank greeting card
    medium flathead paintbrush

    1. Let cut apple sit for 20 minutes before you begin this project. This will allow the surface to dry out before you apply the paint. Remove any seeds or loose apple pieces.

    2. Using the flat head paintbrush, apply the red paint to the outer rim of the apple (figure A), apply the gold paint to the inside center of the apple; apply the green paint in six lines working from the center to the outer edge (figure B); and apply a small amount of the salmon paint to the very center of the apple (figure C). Don't worry about being too neat because you want the colors to blend together to create an organic look.

    3. Stamp the apple onto the card (figure D). You might have to press from the other side of the card to get a solid impression. Allow paint to dry.

    4. Use the embossing pen to add the details to the card (figure E). The details can include seeds, the apple stem, leaves, etc. Sprinkle the embossing powder over the drawn details (figure F). Tap off the excess embossing powder. Holding the embossing gun 4" above the card, heat the details until they are embossed.
