    The ribbon cake card is a perfect accompaniment to this tower of presents for Mom!
    Materials:

    card stock
    patterned paper
    ribbon
    adhesive(s) of choice
    scissors
    felt trim
    bead trim
    pink paper
    pen
    crystal glitter

    1. Cover card stock with pretty scrapbook paper and fold into greeting card.

    2. Cut different bits of ribbon (three to five pieces) into varied lengths, larger to smaller (figure A).

    3. Glue onto center of paper, with largest ribbon on the bottom and smallest at the top to form a multilayered cake.

    4. Make a cake plate from felt trim and bead trim and glue down (figure B).

    5. Cut a small heart out of pink paper. Write a little message on it (figure C) and glue it to the top of the cake.

    6. Add touches of crystal glitter.
