Thanksgiving is such a fun time to celebrate with family and friends--such good food, football and friendship. Why not include a little crafting in your holiday celebrations? Each of your party guests can create their own place card and place it on the dinner table where they would like to sit. Have everyone bring a photo, or if you have a digital camera, take a photo of each person arriving. Follow the step-by-step directions below and kick off your Thanksgiving celebrations with style!

    Materials:

    ready-to-make frames (any size)
Jolee’s By You and Jolee’s Boutique embellishments
    Image Tree rubber stamps
    embossing ink
    Coloriser heat tool
    embossing powders
    Sticko letter stickers
    brush markers
    make-up sponges
    various embellishments and stickers

    1. Using the brush tip markers and a make-up sponge, apply color directly to the sponge from the marker and then sponge the color to the frame (figure A). Sponge the entire frame with color.

    2. The frames can be decorated however your friends would like--the only important part is to remember to put a name on the frame to make it a place card for the table.

    3. In this project, Joy used a rubber stamp and embossing ink to stamp the image on the frame. Then she applied embossing powder and heat-set the powder (figure B).

    4. Then embellish with a variety of flowers and letters to spell the name (figure C).
