    Monograms are so popular right now. Why not add the single-letter look to your personal stationery? You will really make a great impression with your handcrafted efforts.

    Materials

    card stock
    Tiny Tag Types clear letter stickers
    Tag Types clear tiny stickers
    Tile's Play clear
    Tiny Tag Types clear epoxy stickers
    Herma adhesive

    1. Use Microsoft Word (see directions below) to create the printed portions of the business card and address labels (figure A).

    Directions: Open a Word document; go to "Tools" on the top tool bar; click on "letters and mailings." Then click on "envelopes and labels" and then "options." Choose your label size; click on OK; then click on "New Document." Fill in your information and print on the card stock of your choice.

    2. Cut out the printed information and assemble into a business card, address label or return address label (figure B). Remember to leave some extra room for the monogram.

    3. Add a Tag Types clear letter sticker and enhance with an epoxy Tile's Play tile (figures C and D). The raised tile adds texture and a real finished look. You will be proud to hand this card to your friends or send it off in a letter to a loved one!

    Tip: You can also personalize business cards, address labels, and return address labels on your home computer using your own monogram artwork. Simply scan in a hand-lettered or clipart monogram and scale it to size. Add your artwork into the label in Word and hit print!
