    Materials:

silver, gold, bronze metallic card stock
Jolee's By You confetti, streamers, balloons
    computer
    Herma adhesive
    satin ribbon
    clear envelope
    3-D foam adhesive dots
    scissors
    ruler
    craft knife
    pencil

    1. Choose the wording for your announcement. Write by hand or print using a computer on the silver metallic card stock (figure A).

    2. Print your address and return address information (figure B).

    3. Cut two pieces of bronze metallic card stock to 5-3/4-inch squares and set aside. Cut three pieces of gold metallic card stock to 5-1/2-inch squares. Cut two pieces of bronze card stock to 4-3/4-inch squares. Cut two pieces of silver card stock to 4-1/2-inch squares.

Note: Pre-print any pertinent information on this paper (above) using the computer prior to cutting.

    4. Cut four 1/2" x 5-1/2" strips of the gold metallic card stock. Adhere the strips to one another overlapping each of the corners on one of the 5-3/4-inch bronze squares using 3D-Dots (figure C).

    5. Cut two 4-1/4-inch squares from the silver card stock for the Star of David on the front cover. Mark the center top of each of the silver squares; then, using a ruler, draw lines connecting the top center to the bottom right and left corners. Cut 1/4 inch inside the lines to create the two triangles of the Star of David (figure D).

    6. Adhere the star within the gold frame on the front of the bronze square using 3D adhesive dots.

    7. Embellish the front of the card using the metallic balloon and confetti stickers (figure E).

    8. Cut out and mat the address and return address information (see again figure B).

    9. Decorate the front of the remaining bronze square (figure F).

    10. To attach all the pieces with ribbon: Cut a piece of ribbon approximately 21 inches long. Fold the ribbon in half and adhere it to itself.

    11. Lay the front cover face-down on the table; lay the two bronze 4-3/4-inch squares to the right of the cover; lay the back cover with the addresses face down on the table next to the inside squares. Adhere the front pieces on each of the squares, adding a little extra adhesive over the ribbon (figure G). Keep your spacing equal between all squares.

    12. Decorate the inside pieces with more of the Jolee’s By You embellishments (figure H).

    13. Fold up the card and place it in the envelope. Place the card in a clear envelope so that the recipient will see that they have received a special gift.

Note: If this is an odd-shaped envelope, or because the layers in this card might weigh more than an average letter, you may have to pay extra postage.
