    Denim Wine Bags
    Tools:

    pair of old jeans
    scissors
    sewing machine
    thread
    denim-weight sewing-machine needle
    straight pins
    decorative ribbon
    optional: patches

    1. Cut a jeans leg 16" from the bottom hem and set the rest of the jeans aside. Turn this portion of the leg inside out.

    2. Using the sewing machine, stitch the raw edges (the cut part) right sides together, with a standard 5/8" seam allowance (figure A). This will form the body of the wine bag.

    3. Turn the wine bag right side out. Hand-stitch or iron on fun patches (figure B).
