1. Place paper clay between 2 layers of wax paper; use a rolling pin to roll the clay to a ¼" thickness (figure A). 2. Spray a leaf stamp with a food grade silicone spray (the spray prevents sticking). Remove the top layer of wax paper from the clay and stamp images onto the surface (figure B).
3. Using a pair of craft scissors, carefully cut around the stamped images (figure C). Punch a hole in the wet clay with a bamboo skewer (figure D). Let the clay leaves air dry for 2 days.
4. Add pearlizing medium to craft paint, mix thoroughly and paint the clay leaves. Add highlights with gold craft paint mixed with pearlizing medium (figure E). Set the leaves aside to dry.5. Using the same stamps, rubber stamp a gift bag. Use different ink colors and emboss some of the stamps with embossing powder and a heat gun (figure F). Work over a manila file folder to catch loose embossing powder and funnel it back into the canister.
6. Thread the leaf on a piece of twine and tie to the bag (figure G). 7. Hot glue additional leaves to note cards (figure H).
