    Embroidered Silver-Cloth Bags

    Materials:

    Pacific cloth/silver cloth
    tailor's chalk
    embroidery hoop
    light gray embroidery floss
    embroidery needle
    sewing machine

    1. Cut two equal size squares of Pacific/silver cloth, a cloth treated to prevent tarnish in silver and other precious metals.

    2. Tighten one piece of cloth in an embroidery hoop (figure A). Working with metallic embroidery floss, embroider initials, designs and/or pictures (figure B).

    3. Make a simple pillowcase-style bag out of the two cloth pieces by sewing around three sides of the bag and hemming the opening (figure C).
