    Ingredients:

    13 grams cocoa butter
    25 grams olive oil
    12 grams beeswax
    5 vitamin E capsules
50 drops of essential oil (pink grapefruit)

    • Combine cocoa butter, olive oil and beeswax in a heatproof bowl or similar container. Heat this container in a larger pan of warm water to melt the ingredients.

    • After the mixture is melted, stir thoroughly.

    • Slice open five vitamin E capsules and add the contents to the mixture (figure A).

    • Add 50 drops of essential oil. Charidy Hight says pink grapefruit is her best-selling essential oil.

    • Mix well and remove from heat.

    • Pour into shallow lip balm pots or plastic tubes to store (figure B). You can find these online or at health food stores near the beauty supplies. The balm firms up in about 10 minutes.
