    Sugar scrubs are a great way to gently exfoliate skin—and what could be gentler than an all-natural sugar scrub you make yourself?

    B. Original host Michele Beschen and professional soapmaker Charidy Hight share the easy recipe for what Michele Beschen calls "the best sugar scrub ever!" This combination of sugars, natural emollients and tangy essential oils will have be a refreshing treat for your skin. It's a beautiful way to B. Original.

    Sugar Scrub

    Ingredients:

    75 grams sugar
    30 grams Sugar in the Raw
    12 grams jojoba oil
    20 grams sweet almond oil
    5 grams glycerin
    6 grams olive oil
    3 grams pink grapefruit essential oil
    2 grams tangerine essential oil
    1 gram orange essential oil

    • Mix sugar and raw sugar together (figure A).

    • Combine oils, essential oils and glycerin in a separate container. Mix well.

    • Combine oil mixture with sugars and stir thoroughly
      (figure B).

    • Store final scrub in a 4 oz. container with a lid.

    These scrubs make great gifts—and delightful treats for yourself, as well!
