 Use your imagination and create a place-card holder that borrows a favorite motif or party theme.

DIY Crafts host Debbie Stapley offer a simple method for creating fanciful place-card holders with a sense of fun. Materials: Craft foil Blunt pencil Galvanized wire Glue gun Wire cutters/pliers Scissors - Draw 2 shapes onto the craft foil with a blunt pencil and cut out. (Try to keep outlines simple for easy cutting.)
- Glue one piece on top of another, leaving unglued space at the top for place card.
- Create a foundation for place-card holder by bending wire. One part should lay flat against table, with one portion extending to secure place-card holder. Hot-glue wire to back of foil piece.
- Insert place card.
