    Materials --

    Lampshade with base
    Interesting scarf or other vintage fabric
    Vintage pin
    Millinery flowers

    1. Tie the fabric or scarf around the lampshade (figure A). Tuck the ragged or loose edges underneath.

      Tip: Vintage fabrics can be found at flea markets and are terrific for embellishing around the house.

    2. Pin flowers or a pin to the knot in the scarf (figure B).
