    1. Punch out two sizes of flowers from the scrapbook paper.

    2. Glue the flowers onto the shade in a random pattern using both sizes.

    3. Glue small flowers over the larger flowers.

    4. Place a small dot of Fabri-Tac or hot glue in center of the flower and, using tweezers, glue a rhinestone in the center of each flower (figure A).

    5. Spray glue scrapbook paper side by side onto the cardstock so that you will have a continuous length of reinforced decorative paper to make a scalloped edge around the circumference of the base of the lampshade.

    6. Cut a strip of reinforced scrapbook paper and then trace a row of scallops.

    7. Cut out the scallop trim on the inside edge of the pencil line so that it won't show.

    8. Hot glue the scallop trim onto the inside edge of the lampshade and trim off any excess (figure B).

    9. Water down the acrylic paint in a plastic plate and sponge onto the base to tint the wood base to match the shade and let it dry.

    10. Glue a single layer of both sizes of the flowers on the base (figure C).
