Personalized Flashlights and Hand Shadow Chart

Materials:

flashlights
letter and other stickers
laminated hand puppet chart
leather cord, waxed hemp, twine, ribbon, etc.
hole punch

1. Personalize each flashlight with letter stickers, spelling out a name. Add additional stickers (bug, dinosaur, etc.) to each flashlight for decoration (figure A).

2. Create a hand puppet chart and laminate it (laminate at a copy shop if you don’t have a laminating machine). Punch holes all along the border of the laminated chart. Thread leather cord, hemp or something similar through the holes using a running stitch or whipstitch (figure B). Tie off ends on the back of the chart.
