 Smores on a Stick and Grizzly Bear Granola

Ingredients:1 bag large marshmallows 1 bag chocolate chips 1 package graham crackers sprinkles lollipop sticks, found in the candymaking section of craft stores waxed paper 1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring often until smooth (figure A).
2. Crush graham crackers in a large zippered plastic bag; roll with a rolling pin or crush with the back of a spoon until the crackers are the consistency of breadcrumbs (figure B). Place crumbs in a bowl, add sprinkles and mix together.
3. Place a lollipop stick in a marshmallow, immerse the marshmallow in chocolate and then halfway into the crumbs (figure C) (figure D) (figure E).
4. Set on waxed paper to cool. Grizzly Bear Granola Ingredients: 4 c. old-fashioned oats 1-1/2 c. sliced almonds 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 c. vegetable oil 1/4 c. honey 1 tsp. vanilla 1-1/2 c. raisins or dried cranberries Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. 1. In a saucepan warm the oil and honey. Whisk in vanilla (figure A). 2. In a bowl mix together oats, almonds, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon (figure B). 3. Carefully pour the liquid over the oat mixture. Stir gently with a wooden spoon; finish mixing by hand. Spread the granola on a lipped cookie sheet lined with parchment paper (figure C).
4. Bake 40 minutes, stirring carefully every 10 minutes. Transfer granola-filled pan to a rack to cool completely. 5. Stir in raisins or cranberries (figure D). 6. Seal granola in an airtight container or self-sealing plastic bag (figure E). Store at room temperature for 1 week or in the freezer for 3 months.
