    Quilted Cards
    Materials:

    card blank: 5"x7"
    fabric piece: 4"x6"
    double-stick tape
    scrap paper: 4-1/2"x6-1/2"
    craft knife
    self-healing mat

    1. Working on a self-healing mat and using a craft knife, cut a 3"x5" window in the front flap of the card (figure A). Use a quilt square as a straightedge to guide the straight lines.

    2. Working on the back of the card flap, center the fabric over the opening (right side facing the outside of the card); use double-sided tape to attach the quilt square to the back of the card flap (figure B).

    3. Center the scrap paper over the back of the fabric; use double-sided tape to attach the paper to the fabric (figure C).
