Kid's Party Invitations From "Embellish This!" episode DEMB-105

Host Dena Fishbein and daughter, Lisa, show you how to add embellishments to your party invitations.

Materials:

Store-bought party invitations and envelopes
Glitter
Mono Aqua glue
Fabri-Tac
Feathers
Wiggly eyes
Pompoms
Scallop scissors
Rhinestones
Bows
Piece of paper

1. Glue eyes, pompoms, and other embellishments onto the cards as desired to enhance the design (figure A).

2. Use the scallop scissors to trim the envelope's flap into a decorative edge.

3. Outline the scallops with Mono Aqua glue and sprinkle glitter over the wet glue (figure B).

4. Shake off excess glitter onto a piece of paper.

5. Bring finished invitations to the post office to make sure they don't require additional postage. Sometimes when you add a lot of embellishments, it may raise the postage price a little bit.
