Vegas Dice BraceletThese stylish dice bracelets, necklaces and earrings are sure to bring good luck.
Materials:5 dice drill and 1/8" drill bit vice grip small strips of felt E6000 glue jewelry stringing wire lobster clasp two crimp beads crimping tool jump ring seed, bugle and crystal beads wire cutters round-nose pliers
1. Attach the vice grip to a work surface. Using E6000 glue, glue small strips of felt to each side of the vice to protect the dice from scratches (figure A). Place a die in the vice grip. Drill through the die with the 1/8" bit, keeping the bit straight and perpendicular to the work surface. Dont apply too much pressure; let the bit do the work (figure B). Remove the die from the vice grip and repeat the process until all dice are drilled.
2. Cut a length of stringing wire approximately 6" larger than your wrist. String one end through a crimp bead and a lobster clasp and back through the crimp bead (figure C). Crimp with a crimping tool. 3. Add seed, bugle and glass beads to the string; make sure the first beads hide the end of the wire. String on the first die; add additional string, bugle beads and another die (figure D). Continue the pattern until all the dice are strung and the bracelet is the correct length for the wrist.
4. Thread the end of the stringing wire through a crimp bead and a large jump ring and back through the crimp bead. Crimp with the crimping tool (figure E). Thread the end of the wire back through the last few beads and cut away any excess wire with wire cutters. 5. The same dice drilling technique can be used to create dice beads used in earrings and necklaces (figure F).
