Sparkling Hair Flowers

Materials:

5 large teardrop-shaped beads (side drilled)
1 shank button, medium
beading wire
ponytail holder
jewelry wire cutter
1/4" piece of scrap ribbon

1. Thread beads onto a 6" piece of wire (figure A). Form a circle shape, pull both ends of the wire together until tight and twist ends together to secure the beads (figure B). Trim away any excess wire with wire cutters: when complete, the beads should look like a flower without a center (figure C).

2. Thread button onto the piece of scrap ribbon, slide to the center of the ribbon and secure with a knot (figure D).

3. Place the two tails of the ribbon through the center of the wired beads. Tie the ribbon to the ponytail holder using three knots for security (figure E). Trim away any excess ribbon.
