    Materials:

    8mm black AB crystals
    10mm black AB crystals
    silver wire
    thick black elastic for hair
    round nose pliers
    wire cutters

    1. Cut five pieces of wire six inches long.

    2. Cut five additional pieces of wire four inches long.

    3. Run 12 small crystals on each long wire, and then 4 small crystals on the four inch wire.

    4. Bend the wire 90-degrees at each end temporarily.

    5. Take the two ends of the longer wire, and then pull them together. The oval shape is the framework for the petal. Twist the ends of the wire together once.

    6. Take one end of the shorter wire, and then wrap it around the center of the petal at the top, between two beads. Wrap snugly, and then cut off the excess. The other end of the wire joins the two wire ends of the petal. Repeat this step for all five petals, and then twist the wire ends together.

    7. With another piece of wire, thread on three large crystal beads, and then twist the wires together. The three beads will become the center of the flower.

    8. Take all of the wire ends, and then twist them together firmly. Twist the "stem" around the elastic, and then back up to hold the flower snugly against the elastic. Make sure there are no wire ends sticking out.

    9. Manipulate the petals and the center of the flower so that the petals lie down flat.
